License to play music at dance classes with entrance fee and instructor
Tariff 2024A dance class = an event in which all the following conditions are met:
- Entry fee event.
- At the event, music is played accompanied by choreography.
- Participants gather to dance in a guided manner.
The main conditions of the license
- Advance reporting -
1.1 The applicant for the license shall apply in advance to ACUM to receive the license before the dance class takes place, including reporting his details to ACUM (such as name, last name, contact details, ID number, etc.)
1.2 The applicant for the license will also inform ACUM in advance about the details of the dance class: the date of the dance class, the site/hall where the dance class will take place, the expected number of participants. - Payment in advance - The applicant for the license shall pay the license fee in advance to ACUM according to the below rate table and in accordance with the details he provided, and this before the performance of the dance class.
- Operating discount - A license applicant who complies with the conditions of the license that will be granted to him, including reporting the dance class on time and paying the license fee on time, will be granted an operating discount of 20% of the relevant license fee for each dance class.
- Limitations of the license - the license does not include advertising use of the works, including the creation of a connection between a work/works and a product/service, use of moral rights, use of the right to create derivative works, performance rights, record rights and any other right that is not expressly mentioned therein.
General Conditions:
- The above tariffs are published by ACUM Ltd- the Authors, Composers & Music Publishers Society in Israel (hereinafter “ACUM”). The rates are determined at ACUM’s discretion and exclusive responsibility.
- These tariffs do not constitute license to use works from ACUM repertoire. To obtain a license, the client has to apply to ACUM in writing and prior the beginning of the usage of the work.
- The final license fees are calculated according to data and parameters relevant to each client. Any applicant for a license undertakes to provide ACUM with any information required for the calculation of feasible and appropriated license fees.
- ACUM reserves the right to change the tariffs from time to time.
- In case of contradiction between any terms of the published tariffs and those on the license agreed and signed by the licensee, the content of this license shall take precedence.
- The sums detailed on the tariffs do not include Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT will be added to any payment according to its legal rate, against a tax invoice as required by law.
- All the above is subject to the terms applicable to ACUM according to the determinations of the Competition Tribunal.
