The license only includes permission to project films in cinemas and does not include the right to synchronize and/or to make works available to the public and/or to use works for advertising purposes and/or rights that ACUM does not administer such as the right of performers, moral rights, record rights.
The 2025 ACUM Movie Theaters' Rates:
The rate for film screening is 0.5% of the income base
The ג€�income baseג€� is the gross proceeds from the sale of all tickets of all types in the cinema, including for the sale of tickets to subscribers, VIP tickets, IMAX and so on for any movie that has been screened, not including VAT.
Reports -- once a month, and no later than the 15th of the month, a condensed report in the format determined by ACUM, covering the past month, that will include the following data: ticket price, amount of tickets sold and total royalties for each type of ticket (according to the price).
Payment Time ג€“ The cinema will pay ACUM the license fee per month according to the income report it transferred and the calculation according to the above rate plus the legal VAT amount at the time of payment.

It should be clarified that the terms listed below do not constitute a license but rather a summary of the terms of the license. The license granted to the user may include additional terms.
General Conditions:
- The above tariffs are published by ACUM Ltd- the Authors, Composers & Music Publishers Society in Israel (hereinafter “ACUM”). The rates are determined at ACUM’s discretion and exclusive responsibility.
- These tariffs do not constitute license to use works from ACUM repertoire. To obtain a license, the client has to apply to ACUM in writing and prior the beginning of the usage of the work.
- The final license fees are calculated according to data and parameters relevant to each client. Any applicant for a license undertakes to provide ACUM with any information required for the calculation of feasible and appropriated license fees.
- ACUM reserves the right to change the tariffs from time to time.
- In case of contradiction between any terms of the published tariffs and those on the license agreed and signed by the licensee, the content of this license shall take precedence.
- The sums detailed on the tariffs do not include Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT will be added to any payment according to its legal rate, against a tax invoice as required by law.
- All the above is subject to the terms applicable to ACUM according to the determinations of the Competition Tribunal.
