What is exclusion?
In accordance with the conditions for ACUM's activity issued by the Antitrust Commissioner approved by the Antitrust Tribunal and according to which ACUM is obligated to act, ACUM member may notify ACUM at any time of his or her desire to exclude from ACUM's repertoire a version or a part of its versions or a right in the version and that henceforth the version or right will be managed by themselves. (Subject to the conditions)
The significance of the removal of a version from ACUM's repertoire is that ACUM will not manage the right of the version and the user must contact each and every one of the creators of the version directly, in order to grant winnings for its use to a third party (music user).

ACUM'S members (creators) Information – How do I exclude my version?
Two options for exclusion:
The exclusion of an entire work will be made only with the consent of all rights holders in the work (writer, composer and arranger).
Exclusion of a right from the rights in the work (which also requires the consent of all the creators). Such exclusion will be made only in accordance with the new exclusion procedure, which includes defined categories:
a. Exclusion of the audiovisual type (television, cellular, Internet, etc.).
b. Exclusion of audio type (radio, television, cellular, Internet, etc.)
c. Exclusion of copying type (printing texts, characters, etc.)
d. Exclusion of recording and stamping by all means (except recording for broadcasting purposes)
A creator's notice of exclusion is delivered to ACUM and goes into effect within 30 days of its receipt by ACUM and no less than 15 days from the date of its publication on the ACUM website. Notwithstanding the foregoing and in accordance with section 8 of the conditions of the permit, the exclusion will take effect only at the end of the term of the agreement, that is: The works will be included in the license granted until December 31 of that year. If the notice of exclusion is given after November 30, the exclusion will take effect at the end of the term of the agreement in the following year.
Music users - how do I get rights to use an excluded version?
In order to use an excluded version of a work, the user must obtain a direct license from all rights holders in the work.
