ACUM is a member of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) and of the International Bureau of Societies administering Mechanical Rights (BIEM), both recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Through representation agreements with over 100 similar collecting societies worldwide, all affiliated to CISAC, ACUM manages a rich world music repertoire of millions of local and international protected music works from all genres whether instrumental or vocal.

ACUM collects royalties on behalf of its sister-societies members, whenever and wherever their works are exploited in Israel. Those royalties are then forwarded to the relevant society which distributes them to its members.

On the other hand, our sister-societies collect on behalf of ACUM members whenever and wherever their works are exploited in their territories. Those royalties are then forwarded to ACUM which distributes them to its members.
