Any inclusion of a musical work, or phrase from a musical work, makes your advertising campaign more prominent, more memorable and more effective, and contributes unparalleled added value to the advertised product, in the form of experiences, memories and emotions. Music contributes to the success of the campaign, but before you begin, check out the copyrights… and obtain a license to use the work.
ACUM's advertising license is granted for the authority to incorporate a musical or literary work from Acum's repertoire in the advertising campaign. The license is conditional on receiving permission from the creator through Acum and a one-time payment. Any partial or full length use of the work requires a license from Acum.
Using a work for advertising purposes constitutes a significant change in its character and context, therefore the creator, as the owner of the moral right, is entitled to approve or prevent its use. The creator is not obligated to allow a link between his creation and publication and a commercial or other purpose, and the decision is at his sole discretion.
Tariff 2024The amount of royalties for using the work as part of an advertisement is determined according to the creator's demand. The advertisement licenses are individual licenses finalized after negotiation with the creator. For this reason, there is no fixed license fee for use of a work in advertising.
The license will be granted after obtaining permission from the creator or the copyrights holder and after conducting negotiations to determine the sum of the license and its terms.

General Conditions:
- The above tariffs are published by ACUM Ltd- the Authors, Composers & Music Publishers Society in Israel (hereinafter “ACUM”). The rates are determined at ACUM’s discretion and exclusive responsibility.
- These tariffs do not constitute license to use works from ACUM repertoire. To obtain a license, the client has to apply to ACUM in writing and prior the beginning of the usage of the work.
- The final license fees are calculated according to data and parameters relevant to each client. Any applicant for a license undertakes to provide ACUM with any information required for the calculation of feasible and appropriated license fees.
- ACUM reserves the right to change the tariffs from time to time.
- In case of contradiction between any terms of the published tariffs and those on the license agreed and signed by the licensee, the content of this license shall take precedence.
- The sums detailed on the tariffs do not include Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT will be added to any payment according to its legal rate, against a tax invoice as required by law.
- All the above is subject to the terms applicable to ACUM according to the determinations of the Competition Tribunal.
