The license gives the user permission to perform in public protected works from the ACUM repertoire as part of a performance held at a business event, for all or part of the time of the event. In addition, protected works may also be performed publicly as background music by mechanical means at the business event.

Main conditions of the license:
Reporting on behalf of the license applicant up to 72 hours before the business event through the event reporting system (click here to register – only in Hebrew) providing the following details:
- Details of the license applicant and confirmation that he is the paying party.
- Details of the business event - event name, date, location, expected number of participants.
- Details of the show - name of artist/band, specify if it is a local/foreign artist, is there a warm-up show, sponsorship of the show, type of show (musical, play, stand-up, etc.), specify if it is a business event with an open box office or a closed/invited show , a list of works performed in the show, including timing.

In a business event with a show in which background music is also played by mechanical means, royalties will be paid according to the higher of the two license fees (*). For the rate for background music at a business event, click here.
(*) The above is a general explanation only. The calculation of the license fee for each business event with a stage performance will be carried out on the basis of the specific relevant data for that event.
Limitations of the license: The license does not include advertising use of the works, including the creation of a connection between the work/works and the product/service, use of moral rights, use of the right to create derivative works, performance rights, recording rights and any other right not expressly mentioned therein.
ACUM does not hold the rights to grant licenses for performances that include a public performance of works that were specially written and were originally incorporated into a musical or film. For inquiries, contact the performances department.
Also, ACUM's licenses do not include permission to use a sentence and/or an essential part of a work as a show name. To arrange this use, the owners of the rights of the work must be contacted.
General Conditions:
- The above tariffs are published by ACUM Ltd- the Authors, Composers & Music Publishers Society in Israel (hereinafter “ACUM”). The rates are determined at ACUM’s discretion and exclusive responsibility.
- These tariffs do not constitute license to use works from ACUM repertoire. To obtain a license, the client has to apply to ACUM in writing and prior the beginning of the usage of the work.
- The final license fees are calculated according to data and parameters relevant to each client. Any applicant for a license undertakes to provide ACUM with any information required for the calculation of feasible and appropriated license fees.
- ACUM reserves the right to change the tariffs from time to time.
- In case of contradiction between any terms of the published tariffs and those on the license agreed and signed by the licensee, the content of this license shall take precedence.
- The sums detailed on the tariffs do not include Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT will be added to any payment according to its legal rate, against a tax invoice as required by law.
- All the above is subject to the terms applicable to ACUM according to the determinations of the Antitrust Tribunal.
